Dennis Furukawa, Founder and CEO
Dennis is an architect and entrepreneur based in Hawai‘i and the San Francisco Bay Area. For over 20 years he has developed numerous private and public projects integrating architecture, engineering, environmental science, art and public policy, successfully melding the built and natural environments. His knowledge and experience in organic chemistry, sustainable design and environmental laws and regulations of California led Dennis to found RealGreen Power. He holds a degree in architecture and environmental design from the University of California, Berkeley.
John W. Kuhry, Director, Business Development, Northern California
John has 20 years of experience in entrepreneurial projects, economics and environmental sustainability. He served as vice president of the board of directors for the Economic Development and Financing Corporation of Mendocino County. He also served as general manager of award-winning Anderson Valley Brewing Company, the first brewery to install a photovoltaic system to provide 40% of its energy needs and also the first commercial client on the US mainland to purchase RealGreen Power’s bioreactor system. John holds an MS in Applied Economics and Finance from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he focused on financial aspects of environmental issues.
